WHAT TO BRING
Because Chile has such climatic diversity, what you bring depends on your travel plans. Bring warm clothes for the mountains and the Southern Chile and light clothes for the northern deserts and a combination for the Central and Santiago areas.
Some other suggestions include: Spanish Dictionary; Spanish grammar book in your own language; email addresses; and a good guidebook. If you plan to camp, we suggest bringing a warm jumper/sweater; raincoat; walking shoes/hiking boots; sleeping bag; water purification tablets; pocket knife; torch/flashlight and equipment.
