Between July and August temperatures in Cuba regularly exceed 35 degrees C (95F) and the humidity is quite high. Basically, unless you come from a tropical area and are accustomed to extreme temperatures, you may find the heat and humidity excessive. However, this is also the time of year when the majority of Cubans take there holidays, so if you wanna party with the locals, this is the best time of the year to do it. The nights are hot and barmy, and the streets, particularly in the larger towns are more than likely to be filled with Cubans dancing to local music, eating food or just celebrating life in general. The days can be spent sleeping or reenergizing with local fruit juices, and relaxing at one of the many beautiful beaches.

For those who want to relax, have trouble tolerating temperatures in the mid 30s (degrees C), and humid conditions, it is advised that they travel to Cuba in winter or spring (Dec May). This is the best time of the year to put the walking shoes on and explore the many natural and historical sights that Cuba has to offer.
