Yucatan: High season is mid-December to April when it's typically drier and cooler (mid 70Fs- mid 80Fs). May - early December is low season when prices are usually substantially reduced. Temperatures and rainfall rise from May - October, with average highs reaching into the 90Fs. Although it can rain at any time of year along the coast, September and October are generally the wettest months and have the greatest risk of hurricanes.

Central Mexico: The area is blessed with spring-like temperatures and low humidity nearly year-round. In February and March, there are springtime temperatures (mid-20sC). May is the warmest month, with average daytime temperatures reaching the mid-30sC.

Winter nights can be chilly, with temperatures dropping to lows of 5-15C. From June through mid-October, expect brief late-afternoon showers and thunderstorms three or four afternoons a week (the heaviest during July and August).

Baja California: High season is from November to April when it's typically drier and cooler (mid 70Fs- mid 80Fs). May - October is low season when prices are usually substantially reduced. Temperatures and rainfall rise from May - October, with average highs reaching into the 90Fs. Summer brings a double-whammy: heat (average highs reaching into the 90Fs) and energy-zapping humidity coupled with the threat of hurricanes.
