Bolivia is a fascinating and beautiful country in the heart of South America, landlocked and bordered by Chile and Peru (on the west), by Brazil (on the north and east) and by Paraguay and Argentina (on the south. ) It is a country full of tradition  and history which are all reflected in a rich multiethnic  culture.

Bolivia is the most indigenous country in the Americas, with 60% of its population being of pure Native American ancestry. You will find impeccably preserved ancient sites and a living Andean culture.

Bolivia is made up primarily of six regions: The Andes, the Altiplano, the Yungas, the highland valleys, the Gran Chaco, and the tropical lowlands of the Parana and Amazon basins.  We offer some beautiful tours and excursions to the must-see spots of Bolivia.

A good way to start your travels through Bolivia is with a city tour in La Paz, one of South America’s oldest and most dynamic cities. This Urban Trek is an excellent way to adapt to the altitude, and can be followed by one of our many other excursions and tours in the area, such as a a Mountain bike and zip-line adventure tour through the Cloud Forest of Yungas or a day hike to Hampaturi Valley.

If you are staying a bit longer, don’t miss out on the Uyuni  Salt Flats and Eduardo Avaroa Reserve Tour which will take you cross-country through some of the most remote and visually stunning landscapes in the world!

Lake Titicaca is the world’s highest navigable lake, located on the border of Bolivia and Peru. La Paz
LA PAZ:
The busy city of La Paz has much to offer. It is a city without many rules, and is well worth an extended visit. Apart from our airport transfer service, offering a pick-up from La Paz airport and one night in a nice hostel, you can choose to so an urban walking tour, taking in many of the best sites of the city. A nice day trip to be taken from La Paz is Hampaturi Ramble, which allows you to get out of the city for a bit of tranquility.
Potosi
POTOSI:
A real Bolivian must-see. This colonial city and mine tour will give you a sense of the importance of Potosi during the conquista, when the Spanish exported the silver back to their homeland. The mine tour gives a real insight into the conditions of modern-day miners, as they chew coca and work long extremely long hours.
Salar de Uyuni
SALAR DE UYUNI
This 4 day tour of Bolivia's south-west circuit will blow your mind. You'll experience lagoons, flamingos, and geysers but most impressively, the Salt Flats, or Salar, of Uyuni. Here you can even see the curvature of the earth due to the expanse of the salt flats. The Uyuni Salt Flats will haunt your daydreams and imagination for weeks after; there is no other place like it in the world.

LAKE TITICACA:
One of the most beautiful places on the Continent, Lake Titicaca is the largest lake in South America and well worth a tour. Our 4 day tour from La Paz takes in the best of the island and its surroundings, including Copacabana, Isla del Sol, and some less visited communities on smaller islands. For those on a tight schedule, the 1 day tour to Tiwanaku and Isla Pariti will take you to some of Bolivia&s most important archeological sites.
Cochabamba
COCHABAMBA:
Bolivia's 4th largest city, Cochabamba boasts a larger Jesus statue than Rio de Janeiro's Cristo Redentor. Cristo de la Concordia stands at 33m and a bit (1 for every year of Christ's life), and is a must see. Cochabamba is also a hub for many extreme sports, so head here for rafting, climbing, and mountaineering.
Sucre
SUCRE:
Where the country of Bolivia was created by Simon Bolivar, this city is bursting with culture and history. To reap the most that you can in the beautiful city of Sucre, head for our urban half day tour, where entry to the Casa de la Libertad provides this historical insight. Parque Bolivar, where we end our tour, is a beautiful place to absorb all the wonderful sites seen during your tour.
Yungas
YUNGAS:
From La Paz we go to Yungas in the cloud forest for a day of extreme sport on Death Road. Mountain biking and zip lining are the sports of choice as you head down the 'World's Most Dangerous Road' by bike, descending 4800m to 1300m and the peaceful town of Corioco. Zipline 1555m after this, before a delicious local lunch.
